Internship Is A Perfect Means For Express A Service...

INTRODUCTION Internship is a perfect means to express a service-learning phenomenon. This internship has been spectacular in helping me re-evaluate the purpose of my degree— Organizational Leadership. It is a launching pad to help me understand how to practically maximize the potentials that my degree holds and how I can find where I belong in an organizational settings. I have always have strong passion for organization development and innovation that can help revitalize how we see organization today. Organization can come in different shape or form and the more innovations that get injected in the organizational system, the more re-defined the purpose will be to those who use it. The primary goal of the organization is to serve the people of Missouri with basic humanitarian needs like healthcare, home energy assistance, temporary allowance, child care assistance, child support services and other social welfare benefits. As an intern with this organization, my tasks includes the following— conducting systems reviews to ensure actions in agreement with directed federal and state guidelines. Majority of the projects that I run is under the constraint of the Missouri Eligibility Determination and Enrollment System (MEDES) maintenance and operations. This will include operational fixes, rules fixes and notice fixes. I also support with cases that require intervention or handling of evidence as opposed to code fixes that would go through the growth process.
